CBSE UGC NET December 2016 (22nd January 2017 )
CBSE- Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the popular organisation which conducts various examination and NET – National Eligibility Test is one of them. It is a national level examination which was scheduled to be conducted in June and December every year but from 2016 it is conducted in July and January. This examination gets conducted to select best candidates for eligibility of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Each year this examination gets conducted successfully. Large numbers of candidates appear in this examination. Well, to apply for CBSE UGC NET 2016 examination, you must have completed Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks. Eligibility Criteria (Read Details)
The candidates who are interested in CBSE NET December 2016 must go through all the eligibility criteria before they apply for the examination.
- The candidates applying for CBSE NET 2016 should have qualified the Master’s degree or equivalent in listed subjects scoring 55% from any state or central recognized university (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
- The appearing candidates of final year are also eligible to apply for the examination (provided they have to qualify the examination before awarding the post). These candidates must have qualified their Master’s degree within 2 years from the date of NET results.
- Those candidates will get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks whose master’s degree was completed by 19thSeptember 1991.
- The candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Master’s only. The candidates whose post graduate subjects are not listed in the prescribed list can appear in the related subjects.

For Junior Research Fellowship-
Candidate’s age should not be more than 28 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per govt. rule.
There is no limitation in age.
