NDA Coaching in Chandigarh:
The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test booklets) of mathematics and part “b” of general ability test will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.
There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers. The penalty will be as per the following:
(i) There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate. One third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
(ii) If a candidate gave more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above for that question.
(iii) If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
- The candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan. A Tibetan refugee came to India before 1st January, 1962 to become a permanent resident of India are also eligible. Person from Indian origin who has been migrated from SriLanka , Burma, Zambia, Malawi, Pakistan & East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam came to India for permanent resident are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates who are not the citizen of India and Gorkha or the subjects of Nepal are needed a certificate of eligibility which is issued by the Government of India.
Age Eligibility Criteria for NDA:
- For NDA (1st ) 2017: The candidates holding age between 2nd July, 1998 to 1st July, 2001 are eligible for the NDA examination.
- For NDA (2nd ) 2017: The candidates holding age between 2nd January 1999 to 1st July 2002 are allowed to write the exam.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination. Girls are not allowed for the NDA entrance examination.
- Note-1: The Date Of Birth mentioned in the Matriculation/HSEC Certificate available or an equivalent certificate will be considered by the commission.
NDA Application Fee
- Rs 100 For General and OBC.
- SC/ST and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ROs exempted from examination fee.
- The Payment can be done in any branch of SBI via cash payment or net banking.
Educational Qualifications Criteria:
For Indian Army, the candidates must have completed or appearing 12th class from a recognized board. For Indian Air force and Indian Navy, candidates must have completed or appearing 12th class with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board.
Candidate should be physically fit. Candidate must have fulfill all the physical standards such as height , weight and eye sight.
